Of Note- "I Don't Want to Go to Heaven," "Pinwheels," "Postcard," "Hole in the Sand" and "Arise" won note in different Billboard Annual World Song Writing Contests. Root Deco also placed as a semi-finalist for Song of the Year. Metromix selected the band as one of Washington DC's hottest bands and Root Deco was selected by Little Steven's Underground Garage as one of Washington DC's top three garage bands. "O'Ryan of the Underworld" was featured on Moonhead Magazine's International Underground CD, Volume 5.
